King Salmon Photos (16)	False Island Wilderness Lodge is very unique as we offer fishing for kings on the coastal waters near Sitka, And we offer King salmon fishing on the Inside passage. They range in size from 15 to 75 pounds. If your lucky you will catch a white King.

Halibut Photos (27)	We are located right on the Halibut fishing grounds. The very sweet white meat of a halibut can make anybody smile. Most of our halibut fishing is done withen 5 to 10 minutes of the lodge. The halibut are plentyfull and big. The halibut range from 25 pounds to 450 pounds.

Boat pics (1)	We fish 29-foot Almars with heated cabs and each boat has a head comfortable for both men and women. Our boats are full walk arounds on the same level for optimum fishing and easy access.

Freshwater Fishing (18)	We have many rivers and lakes we fish withen a few miles of the lodge. They are full of Steelhead and trout such as Rainbow, Dolly Varden and Cutt's. These fish have very rarley seen a hook or fly. There is alot of them and they are easy to catch.

Bottom Fish (Snapper, etc.) (8)	Bottom fish are everywhere around the lodge. We catch Lingcod, Red snapper, any many other rockfish and sharks. We can catch up to 35 pound Red Snapper. We have even caught a 450 pound Salmon shark. Alot of fun and great eating.

Shrimp & Such! (9)	Shrimp and crab everybodys favorite. After a great day of fishing we reccomend that you try your hand at shrimping or crabbing. We have spotted shrimp and dungeness crab withen site of the lodge. Catching is no worry as there is a high abundance of shrimp and crab around.

Scenery (13)	Whales, Brown bears or Eagles what ever you want to see you will. The whales are seen during the fishing hours and from the dinning room of the lodge. Bears and Eagles are eating the fish at all of the streams and are very easy to find. The photo opp's for these animals are endless so bring alot of film.

Views Of The Lodge (6)	The lodge is a very remote located on the fishing grounds no running time to the fish. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. There is a rec room with tv and a view to remember. The dining room. The food is number one and won't be beat anywhere. The view while you are eating dinner is awsome you could see anything from whales to bears and eagles. Don't forget the 7 man hot tub bring your shorts.
